This tape was recorded to demo some songs. Most of these songs were recorded by johnnie live in his parents garage using the built in mic of an old tape recorder and most were made up as he was playing them. A couple of the songs had overdubs added using a fourtrack. James plays drums on a couple of the songs*

"I received a demo from Johnnie after he saw one of my flyers stating bands always wanted. The demo came in a full colour cover and contained the most cheap but beautiful recordings ever. ANyway STRIP is the name of his project..."

"...And prepare yourself for the best lo-fi bombings of a long time-you thought 'Strictly for scarabs' is good-How fucking god."
