scooter and jinx

In february 1996 johnnie saw an ad saying "bands wanted" for a "sheffield showcase" and thought it would be a good idea to enter, but as the sTriP were lacking a bassist james asked evan (someone he knew at university) to join. This made them change their name to "scooter & jinx." After that they went for it big style.
In the space of five weeks they had five practices, wrote a load of songs, recorded a demo, sent it off, got picked to play in the showcase, recorded an album, played the showcase and split up.
