james, ralf, johnnie and adam setlist for the 5th july 2001 jcac gig

jc albyn complex followed the Third Rail tradition of deciding on the setlist just before going onstage and writing it on ripped beer mats. In the early years of jcac the lyrics and titles of songs were rarely finalised until after they were recorded which often meant that songs were known to the band by words that may or may not have had some relation to the sound or style of the song. The translation of the above setlist to jcac songs is...

  • Country One = Roads
  • 16 Seconds = 16 Seconds an Hour*
  • B Song = This was probably Lost Collar
  • Hardcore = Silent Extras**
  • Quiet = Silent Extras**
  • Fast Punk - Staring at the Ceiling
  • Peculiar Manuoevre - Strange Movements***

* Third rail song played, but not recorded by jcac in the early days of jcac.
** The two songs known by jcac as "the hardcore one" and "the quiet one" were always played together and were recorded as a single song called "silent Extras."
*** Third Rail song played by jcac in the early days and recorded as "Strange Movements."
