As "The Resurrection of..." took so long to finish jc albyn complex wanted to ensure that the follow up took less time. Recording started in August 2009 with a plan to finish it in time for their Halloween gig, but it took a lot longer to finish. The working title was "The Appliance of Science," but it ended up being called "ThePersecution of..." and was finished over a year late in November 2010.

The Resurrection of jc albyn complex

The original plan for the recording of "The Resurrection of..." was that jcac would record the whole album in two days at sPookY sounds and mix it a week or so later. The first day went to plan and the backing tracks for 15 songs were recorded in a few hours. The band were happy with their progress and decided to take day 2 off. The album took 18 months to complete.

The Lost Tape

The Lost Tape took a couple of years to record and never really got finished. It was mixed when johnnie found the recordings while jc albyn complex were avoiding finishing "The Resurrection of..."
